Handmade stoneware soap coaster. 
 
These coasters are hand thrown on my wheel using buff spotted stoneware clay. After drying for a day or two, I carefully trim the grooves for drainage before finally adding my makers mark. Once they are bone dry they are bisque fired to 999 degrees. I hand glaze and then fire again to 1240 degrees.
