Handmade stoneware luminary. A perfect gift for someone special !
 
This luminary was handmade using stoneware clay. After drying for a day or two, I carefully trimmed it, adding my makers mark and then hand carved the pattern to let the light through. Once it was bone dry it was bisque fired to 999 degrees. I glazed it with a white glaze before firing again to 1240 degrees.
