Handmade stoneware mug.
 
This mug was hand thrown on my potters wheel using buff spotted stoneware clay. After drying for a day or two, I carefully trimmed the base, added my makers mark and finally added the handle. Once it was bone dry it was bisque fired to 999 degrees. I hand painted with glaze and then fired again to 1240 degrees.

Dishwasher safe, although as with any ceramics, gentle washing by hand will ensure a longer life of the glazes.
