Handmade stoneware coaster.  For your cups or your candles!  
 
These coasters were hand thrown on my potters wheel using buff spotted stoneware clay.  After drying for a day or two, I carefully smoothed the base and added my makers mark.  Once it was bone dry it was bisque fired to 999 degrees.  I hand painted with glaze and then fired again to 1230 degrees.
