Handmade stoneware mug
 
These mugs are hand thrown on my potters wheel using buff spotted stoneware clay. After drying for a day or two, I carefully trim the base, add my makers mark and finally add the handle. Once bone dry they are bisque fired to 999 degrees. I hand glaze them and then fire again to 1240 degrees.
All of my pottery is hand made and glazed so there will be differences between those pictured and the one received in terms of surface appearance, design and size. I strive for my items to be uniform, but equally the differences are what make each piece unique.

Dishwasher safe, although as with any ceramics, gentle washing by hand will ensure a longer life of the glazes.
