Introduction to Pottery Workshop
Beginners wheel throwing class
Service Description
If you've always wanted to give pottery a go, this is the perfect class for you! This 1.5 hour pottery class is ideal for someone with no experience, but keen to try the potters wheel. In this 1-1 class you will learn the basics of wheel-throwing and hopefully create some unique pieces of pottery. At the end of the session, you can pick 2 items that you have made that will then be trimmed, glazed and fired ready for collection (or posting). I will take great care of the pottery that you make in the session, but there can be no guarantees that your pieces will make it through the firing process without cracks, chips, misfires or explosions. Such is the nature of ceramics - fingers crossed! Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Remember a hair tie for long hair and make sure your nails are short. Please note this is a private lesson held in my home garden studio in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. I am not liable for any accidents to students or any loss or damage to personal items. By booking this workshop you are confirming you agree to all of the above and my cancellation conditions. If you have any questions, please contact me before booking. ADULTS ONLY
